Cassi is an absolute doll and is going to be a one in a million all around using horse. Cassi stands out no matter where she is with a presence all her own. Cassi is a mare that we constantly marvel at. As only a two year old she could be trusted with almost anyone, and Katie has been riding her since we gave Cassi to her for her tenth birthday. Cassi is by Chips Chunka Chocolate, by the immortal Zips Chocolate Chip, and out of a superb mare who is an own grandaughter of both Pine Wampy and Zippo Pat Bars. She has four world champions ON HER PAPERS. You don't see a pedigree like hers every day. She moves beautifully like most Zips but is also very catty & quick. We look forward to Katie showing her in everything from Western to English, and it's my opinion that Cassi will also make an unstoppable rope horse, if that's the direction Katie chooses to go. Few people realize that Zippo Pine Bar, (Zips Chocolate Chip's Sire) wasn't JUST a sire of show horses, he also sired several world champion rope horses. And both Pine Wampy & Zippo Pat Bars did too! Cassi has a very good personality, extremely sweet & loving, always the first horse up to you in the pasture, she is a perfect match for Katie. We have recently set Cassi on a new path from show pony to mounted shooting horse. This mare is unbelieveably good minded and so far is doing wonderfully as a shooting horse. Stay tuned, when this mare gets finished out we truly expect she and Katie to be unbeatable. |
