Welcome to Katie's home on the web! Be forewarned, Travis calls this the "Worship Katie" page, LOL, and it basically gives Mom a chance to do what I so rarely can, blatantly brag on Katie! LOL We also had sooo many pictures of Katie that she needed her own page! Katie is part country girl, part girly girl, and all cowgirl! For those of you that have met her you know that her animals are the central part of her life. And most important of all to her is her beloved best friend and welsh pony, Jack Frost, who she has now outgrown but will never part with. Some of Katie's favorite things are to go shopping, swim, hang out with her friends, and go arrowhead hunting with her dad. She also loves to show her horse at local 4-H and saddle club shows, and compete at the sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting
Katie just started Seventh Grade this fall and although her favorite subject is History, she is a straight "A" student and excells in all subjects. She loves basketball and is a proud Harrisburg Bulldog! Her dream is to someday be a horse trainer or a farrier like her dad! But we tell her there will be plenty of time to choose her career! Katie is currently training her four year old quarter horse mare Cassi for cowboy mounted shooting. She already has her gun broke and is doing a great job of putting a handle on her. Katie has worked very hard to achieve what she has, and we couldn't be more proud of her. Katie is an accomplished horsewoman in her own right and it shows in how her horses respond to her and the wins she brings home each summer weekend! She is responsible for training her own horses as part of her 4H project and she has really overcome some difficult situations to have had the success she has.
