Stonepoint Forge Farrier Service is a full service professional horseshoeing business located in Central Missouri. Travis is trained and experienced in hot & cold shoeing, as well as therapeutic and corrective shoeing. He can and does do everything from draft horses to ponies, and shoes a large variety of performance horses, including dressage, jumping, western pleasure, reining, barrel racing and many more. He has worked very closely with many of the area veterinarians & equine specialists on horses that require therapeutic or corrective shoeing, and is responsible for shoeing World Champions in many different disciplines as well.
Travis is a "horseman's farrier", and his experience with training horses from halter breaking to finishing has also helped him become a better shoer. He has a well earned reputation for being gentle and quiet around the horses, and is especially good with the young ones. He chose his profession based on his love for the animals, and it shows.
Travis also finds time to do several clinics/demonstrations each year. Catch his next one on February 18th at Carver Farms on the Lincoln University campus during the Central Region Horse Symposium.
